Shion Crawford has been skateboarding since the age of 5 years old and surfing since he’s been 3 years old at his home break on the North Shore of Oahu. He’s half Japanese, half Caucasian, and speaks fluent Japanese. Shion has won first place in contests like: the Ian Walsh Menehune Surf, HASA surf series, North Shore Menehune in Haleiwa, Kailua Shore Break Classic, and the Cooney menehune contest.
Schaper Hawaii is a big supporter of our young grom Shion and we can not wait to see him grow in his surfing career. Some of his other supporters include: Hurley, Creatures of Leisure, Luliluli Bikinis, Nixon, and Sumbam.
